Good to know: Is a highly talented gourmand, - no matter what cuisine. On tour in Sri Lanka 2002 that earned him the nickname of “arpicco boku” (elastic stomach). In the following years his ability to absorb enormous quantities of food was instrumental in saving his cricketing career, when some East Germans tried to feed him into a Double-Inzy.
