Good to know: Got his name accidentally changed by German immigration officials but accepted it with characteristic equanimity.
Has the innate tendency to turn his runs into gentle walks whenever possible. Was therefore famously egged on by a partner while crossing for the first run: “I run two – no matter what you do!”
This episode notwithstanding he seems to get quicker by the year as age is trying to catch up on him. Was in early 2007 even seen running twos during the indoor-championship!
